Volatility Box wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we test the site again whenever we make significant changes.
What we have done
- A "Skip to main content" link and labeled page regions, so screen reader and keyboard users can move around each page quickly.
- Menus, buttons, and forms that work with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are on the page.
- Pause buttons on anything that moves on its own, such as slideshows and background video, and motion reduced automatically when your device asks for it.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and text colors chosen for readable contrast.
- Pages that can be zoomed to 200% and that reflow on small screens without sideways scrolling.
- An accessibility options button on every page that lets you enlarge text, increase spacing, raise contrast, highlight links, and stop animations. These settings are remembered on your device.
Third-party content
Some features are provided by other companies, including Stripe (checkout), YouTube. We choose these tools with accessibility in mind, but we do not control their code. If one of them does not work for you, contact us and we will help you directly.
