Micron Tagged the Daily Conservative Volatility Box and Reversed for 2R in 72 Minutes

The setup on the chart

Micron ($MU) pressed down into the lower cloud of the Daily Conservative Volatility Box, tagging the L3 level. On the Box, the lower cloud is the long zone: it is the statistical level where price is stretched below fair value, and where the setup carries defined risk because the level and the stop are drawn before any entry.

This is the whole point of the Box. It is not a prediction. It is a map of where volatility says price is extended, so the trade has a defined level to react to and a defined amount to risk if it is wrong.

Why it lined up

The backdrop was one of the strongest in the memory space in years. Micron reported fiscal Q3 2026 in late June, posting record quarterly revenue that came in above Wall Street consensus. HBM is sold out through 2026, and HBM4 is already ramping for NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin platform, with demand outpacing supply across HBM, DRAM and NAND.

That is the kind of tape where a stretch into the lower cloud tends to get bought. The Box does not need the catalyst to work, but when a strong fundamental bid meets a statistical level, the reaction is often cleaner.

The entry and the result

Price tagged the Daily Conservative L3 box, and the Edge Signal confirmed the oversold entry on the green arrow. That is the sharpest entry on the Box: the level defines where to look, and the Edge Signal times when the reversal is actually turning.

From that Edge Signal entry the target hit in about 72 minutes for 2R (+1.86%). The number that matters is not the 1.86 percent, it is the 2R with the risk defined before the trade. A clean level, a defined stop, a fast target.

Where the real edge is

One trade is proof of the process, not the edge itself. The edge is the Volatility Box level plus the Edge Signal entry, gated by Setup 6, measured from the Edge entry across 600+ symbols. That is what turns a single clean reversal into a repeatable, defined-risk framework rather than a one-off.
